A dread, powerful and persistent, has haunted Quincey for as long as he can remember. It only grew stronger as he grew older. But what is it? Bad dreams? Haunted memories of the Great War? Quincey Harker – son of Jonathan and Mina Harker – begins to seek the answers to these questions. What he finds is more horrifying than all the accounts of his parent’s journals. And more inescapable.
The Shadow of Dracula; Harker’s Inheritance continues the story of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, written in part by the adult son of Jonathan and Mina Harker. Quincey begins to sense something is very wrong when his once close circle of friends – familiar characters from the classic – start to exclude him from their meetings.
In his journals, Quincey transcribes his thoughts and reactions as he attempts to learn the reason he is being kept apart from them. He begins to sense, with increasing, suffocating dread, that he may be in grave danger. Quincey soon learns the threat is very real, but what’s more terrifying is that he, himself, may be that threat.
The Shadow of Dracula; Harker’s Inheritance is a dramatic tale of horror, revenge, and the strength of love during the struggle to stop the return to power of the oldest, most powerful vampire – Dracula.
